# Cumulative Staking

**Cumulative Staking** introduces a more flexible and user-friendly alternative to periodic staking. With this system, rewards are automatically accrued after each staking period, removing the need for users to claim them before starting a new staking cycle. Users can claim their total accumulated rewards at any time, provided at least one staking period has elapsed.

**Key Features:**

* **Automatic Accrual:** Rewards are added continuously at the end of each staking period without requiring the user to claim them for each staking period.
* **Flexible Claims:** Users can claim rewards at their convenience instead of adhering to a fixed schedule.

**Example:** If the staking period is set to 7 days with a reward of 100 points per NFT:

* A user who stakes their NFT and waits 21 days can claim 300 points without needing to re-stake after each 7-day period.

### Setup Commands

Server admins can enable or disable this feature via the `/staking-type` command, ensuring full control over staking configurations.
